Function "copy" - "paste"

Today we will look at two ways to copy and paste text on Android TV. This function is almost exactly the same as on a computer. copy ” and “ paste appears, then on a prefix this function is called by a long tap on the screen with the mouse cursor.

In order to copy the text you need, you need to go to the file browser from the console. Here you can create a file and enter the text you need:

We open a text file. Further, in order to select the text, you need to make a long press tap , after which two markers appear on the screen, which must be stretched over the selected text and click “ Copy ”:

Further, in order to paste the copied text into the text field, you need to make an arbitrary tap on the mouse of the smart set-top box, after which the “ Paste ” option appears:

Select the desired text file and open it with the ES Editor:

After opening the file in the upper right corner, click on the three dots:

Select "Change":

Now we can long press the mouse to select and copy the text:
